Cricut Challenge 15: Cricut American Alphabet

Back to my personal Cricut challenge!  Many of you Cricuteers may not be familiar with the Cricut American Alphabet Cartridge because it is not available for purchase.  It came pre-loaded on my Expression 2 when I purchased it from HSN a few months back.  It is a great cartridge with some cute images and word art as well as 3 wonderful fonts.

I made a little 3x3 gift enclosure:
I used Linen Closet papers by DCWV and cut this cute doily (and there are SEVERAL doilies on the cartridge!) at 2 1/2 inches.  I added a couple of scalloped circle layers punched out with Fiskars punches.  I inked all edges with Color Bok Chalk Ink (Chestnut Roan).  The sentiment was stamped with Stampin' Up's Chocolate Chip and punched out with an SU punch.  I added a little twine just because it was cute!

I DID DO MY SHOPPING AT PAPER TREY INK!! Woohooo....!!!  You know, I wrote about finding money in my husband's pocket while doing the laundry.  So, I treated myself to a big purchase (big for me anyway).  I bought some dies, a few stamps sets, some paper, ribbon, felt.  I can't wait to see it all!  I do have a complaint though...I don't like when things are out of stock!!!  I so wanted the small rickrack die but it was not in stock!  Sad....guess I'll just need to do laundry more often so I can be checking those pockets out!

Happy Crafting!
