Birthday Wishes

I needed a birthday card to get out in today's mail for someone whose birthday is coming soon....and who will be 40!  People dread turning 40 but it didn't bother me....I've always had more trouble with the "5's"....like 35...45....I would say 55, too....but I stopped having birthdays several years back so haven't quite gotten to 55 yet. ;)

I decided to use up more of the January Simon Says Card kit.  I did use the banner die from SSS...I do love that folded die and it's proportioned just perfectly for the perfect fold.  You can see it HERE. At $12.99 for both the stamps AND die I think it's a great value!

I hope the she likes it.  I told her 40 is now the new 20!

    Beautiful card!!! LOVE the hexagons w/the different patterns--SO edgy and modern! I love you thinking about birthdays--I'm going to have to stop having birthdays!! (; hahaha!
