Happy Valentine's Day to All!

Wishing you all a very Happy Valentine's Day.  I have 3 very sweet little Valentine's with me right now...my three grandkids! Having time with them is better than a box of chocolates... :)

I made some treat boxes for them (put some Hershey Kisses inside) with the We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punch Board.  Cool board.  It makes bows, boxes and envelopes.  Well, I mean it doesn't do it all by itself...the thing needs the help of a master crafter. LOL! Not really...it's simple and easy to use and is a just an amazing little well engineered product!

Here are the little boxes with a little mouse on top that was done with a Lori Whitlock cut file from the Silhouette Design Store.

The little mouse was done with 2 Hershey Kisses glued together. They look better IRL (In Real Life)! I promise.  And the kids thought they were so cute..especially my granddaughter who is an animal lover!

Here are the 3 I did:

I made this other little treats for some other special Valentine's in my life:

These were done with a Lori Whitlock file as well.  Those are Hershey Nuggets inside wrapped in some Washi tape.  The die was cut with an Impression Obsession die.  The paper and stickers are from Michael's...the Recollection line which was just practically free when I bought it! 50% off plus another 20% off my total purchase.  Practically free, I tell you!  I added a little acetate window to close the whole thing in.
Don't want those chocolates escaping, you know!

And that's it for today...wishing you a wonderful Valentine's Day....and Happy Crafting!

Happy Easter, Ya'all!

Happy Easter from Atlanta, Georgia!

My grandkids went to see the Easter Bunny the other day and it was a total #FAIL! But oh so cute anyway....

I'm not sure it was an improvement over 2014 or not...
HAHA...I think the Easter Bunny is signaling...HELP!

Kids will be kids...and it is difficult to get 3 tiny people all on the same page when it comes to photographing them! That's why many of my Project Life photos are blurry or missing body parts.  But even the parts can tell a story can't they?

I did make a few other Easter cards to send...and this was not my own design but rather one created by the fabulous Impressive Ideas stamp store in my area.  They did a make and take one day and I loved the card so bought the stamps to duplicate. Using MISTI helped me crank out quite a few cards in no time at all!

This was done with Impression Obsession stamps.  The teeny gingham paper was actually created with a stamp.  Love it! Oh la la...just think of the possibilities! And I got a great image using my MISTI and reinking!
The little bunny peeps were colored with Copics...and some Wink of Stella clear glitter was painted over one of the bunnies.
See?
Probably not... but it's there, I promise!

So Happy Easter to all of you...time to get in the kitchen and make some deviled eggs!

And Happy Crafting!

Happy Easter!

I made a few Easter cards to send to family and friends using a "HAPPY" die from Impression Obsessions I bought at Impressive Ideas (our fabulous local stamp store) a week or so ago.  I thought this was a great and versatile die.

These cards whipped up pretty quickly...the die cuts beautifully!!!

Here is the first one I made:

"Easter" was done with the Marketing Script font and cut on my Silhouette Cameo.  I also cut a shadow to fit behind it to give it a little more pop as we say in the card creating world.

I cut the letter for "HAPPY" a second time and adhered them to the card base with some foam tape.
And lastly...a bit of ribbon finished off this card.

Here is the second one I made:

Same idea...just done in a horizontal manner.

Again...easy and fast.  How great is this die??? I can use it for Birthdays, Halloween, 4th of July...any number of other significant days, ya know?

Definitely one to be used again!

Happy Crafting and Happy Easter!
